About Mayatan Foundation USA

The Mayatan Bilingual School in Copan Ruinas, Honduras has been supported by hundreds of incredible sponsors over the past 20 years. Through our partnership with Hope for Tomorrow, we are able to provide tax deductions to our donors in the United States.

The creation of the Mayatan Foundation USA begins the next chapter in our investment to improve access to education throughout Honduras. Our new 501c3 nonprofit (status pending) will allow us to better manage our donations, sponsors, and communications, and will allow us to apply for grants opening access to billions of dollars accelerating our mission to educate Honduran children.

We are waiting for regulatory approvals (estimated February 2025) for official 501c3 status and will continue providing updates as we progress through the process.
